EAR TO THE STREETS: Steff Reed x Trials of Job (Official Music Video)

I first met the musical genius that is Steff Reed in late summer of 2010 in Brooklyn, NY. I wasn't really familiar with his body of work (Which is extensive) but he was a friend of a friend who was looking for a stylist for some up coming shows and the aforementioned friend recommended him to me.

In the three years since that introduction, I have watched a man on a mission to not only claim but to own himself by creating personally and professionally an evolution of the man that a lot of us wouldn't dare seek out. With the release of "THE INTERVENTION", Mr.Reed takes us on a journey that is not only his own but also a reflection of us.

For additional information on the incredible STEFF REED, please read below and pick up his new album "THE INTERVENTION" featuring the new single "TRIALS OF JOB" on itunes.

After over a decade of songwriting and producing for some of the music industry’s finest stars (Trey Songz, Kenny Lattimore, Lil’ Mo, Bridget Kelly), New York City-based singer/songwriter/producer Steff Reed is on the rhythmic road to intervention and reinvention. Celebrated with a feature article in Essence magazine (June 2012) and a cover story in JSquared Magazine, he has been compared to the likes of esteemed artist/producer/songwriters Ryan Leslie, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. Reed harvested the breadth of his impressive industry experience while valiantly baring his soul on his brilliant debut release #TheIntervention EP

The EP, which is an astounding sonic journey into the soul of a man on the brink of a spiritual evolution, valiantly slays his insecurities and internal conflicts on his quest to heal his spiritual wounds. Digiwaxx.com calls the EP “a brutally honest, introspective, tell-all testimony.” iStandardProducers.com says “Steff Reed confronts his demons with a positive spin.” DopeFiles.com proclaims that “Steff Reed will soothe the aches of the soul with his voice.”
Since the release of#TheIntervention, Steff Reed has been invited to grace the stages of landmark New York City performance spaces (SOB’s, Webster Hall) and iconic international venues (London’s Royal Albert Hall). He has received attention from respected online media outlets such as Singersroom.com, ThatsEnuff.com, StuffFlyPeopleLike.com and StupidDOPE.com. And has also been nominated for a GRAMMY award as Music Educator. “I’ve been very fortunate to work with so many great people and accomplish so much. And while the journey has been amazing,#TheIntervention is only the beginning for me.
